Matt Dunn Racing established in January 2011, has so much to offer and has already burst onto the scene in his first two months as a trainer in his own right winning with The Reveller on June 13th at Doomben and he is focused on success.

Matthew has been assistant Trainer for Gerald Ryan for the past 11 years and prior to that an apprentice jockey riding till he was 21 before weight gain cut his race riding career short. The experience gained as a race rider has been an integral element and great advantage to his approach to training.

Based on a beautiful property opposite the Tweed Jockey Club in the picturesque township of Murwillumbah, located in the centre of the stunning Tweed Valley on the far north coast of New South Wales, just 15 minutes from the pristine beaches of the Tweed Coast, 30 minutes south of the Gold Coast and 40 minutes north of Byron Bay, this stable certainly provides a stunning natural environment.

Matthew Dunn trained horses enjoy beach work, bush trails, jumping courses as well as track work providing variety combined with a gentle approach to training. They spend their days after work in acre paddocks to rejuvenate and unwind.

Currently, the stables most notable performers include; Chew the Fat, The Reveller and Pyramids.

WHO WOULD LIKE TO OWN A HORSE WITH A STALLLIONS PEDIGREE
I have been lucky enough to secure Fleur De Shine's 2010 colt to split up. He was to be sold at Easter yearling sale, but we have managed to get him before he goes through at, what i believe a great price.
