Good strides toward Magic Millions 2025 at Doomben on Tuesday

We took 5 2YO’s to the trials at Doomben on Tuesday and all of them trialled really well and showed ability with a very pleasing 3 winners for the morning.
INSTA WORTHY is a sharp son of Kia Ora Stud first season sire FARNAN leading from start to finish in Heat 6 running the fastest time over 1000m for 2YO’s. All going well he will run Saturday week in the Phelan Ready Plate at Doomben on Saturday week. This Colt sold as a foal for $175,000 and we were fleet of foot and sharp in our action when we purchased him from Widden Stud for $120,000.
DON’T TELLYAFATHER, is a daughter of COOL AZA BEEL who stands Newhaven Park that we were able to buy for Tony Carroll's Topline Thoroughbreds for just $45,000 from Book 2 at this years Magic Millions winning her 840m heat in the fastest time for that trip.
Far from the least of the brigade was TORQUE TO BE SURE who was really quite impressive in his heat after looking completely lost early in the straight. This magnificent son of Rosemont Stud wonderful proven horse SHAMUS AWARD has loads of talent and will only get better with experience. He was our most expensive yearling buy for the season and at this early stage he looks well worth the money.
Both of DON'T TELLYAFATHER and TORQUE TO BE SURE will have another trial before they are ready to head to the races.
The other 2YO's who trialled well without winning were GLAM who didn't love the ground but her rider gave her a glowing report post trial. AMAZIGH TORQUE is proving a real surprise packet as we never thought this daughter of CASTELVECCHIO would make it to trial this early. She may not get to the races but she has a bright future this Filly
All of these 2YO's are Magic Millions eligible and are making good strides to the big event in January. They truly came from every area of the market and are all doing a very good job for us and their owners who we thank for being part of their ownership.
